Breaking New Grounds: A Solar Activated Pasteurizing Milk Contraption

A newly set up innovative appliance in Nicaragua serving twofold benefits gravely deserves our consideration as this exceptional eco device while curbing global warming surely cuts down one’s disbursement level as well. Originally invented by researchers from the Agrarian University of Nicaragua and Spain’s University of Lérida this machine is presently accommodated in the Agrarian University of Nicaragua’s Department of Animal Sciences.

It is nothing but a freshly installed milk pasteurizing machine that could be powered purely by sunlight charged panels. Earlier people who used to boil unpasteurized milk would promptly hit upon this machine to get rid of superfluous parasites while meeting international health standards. Here in this application, the milk is warmed up to a temperature of 185° Fahrenheit or we can say 85° Centigrade by means of a mechanical system which gets powered from solar panels. Nowadays, the machine is being utilized to prepare cheese and many other dairy products.

Milk Crate Furniture: Innovative DIY option For Your Home

Until today, I used to think that all those tones of milk crates post their usability are thrown in incinerators or molten and used in some other form. But I’m glad to find that one can use these crates without recycling them as well and the re-use comes in the form of DIY innovative furniture. WOW!

Tasmanian furniture designer Simon Ancher and designer house MADE has come up with some very interesting furniture styles created out of colorful but discarded milk crates. The chic-furniture options are stools, chandeliers, sofas, table, chairs…you name it and it can be done using a few crates and a lot of creativity! Contemporary box life designs from Naty Moskovich also belong to this category. Her designs include very trendy, youthful and easy-to-maintain furniture pieces for your apartment. In the corners of your cramped flat if there isn’t much space to bring in a big sofa then you can opt from one of her milk crate stools.

Sam’s Club gets Square Shaped Milk Jugs: More Spacious and Eco-friendly

Sam’s Club- United States’ second largest wholesale retailer has shifted to a new type of milk container being introduced in the U.S. markets recently. The milk container is not a looker or a sensation in terms of design. Infact, the new milk jug is a square shaped gallon. This packaging change isn’t a promotional gimmick but utility factor in case of the container. Milk has been transported for wholesale consumption in pitchers at the beginning. Then came the glass bottles (in 1800’s). Followed by, cardboard cartons and finally plastic gallons.
