At this time the entire world is calling for green and hi-tech novelties and a fresh exemplar of this has been displayed by BenQ through an assortment of energy saving eco monitors. Lately BenQ has put on the market two variant models of LCD monitors: (G900HD/HAD) one which is black in color and the other one (E900HD/HAD) embracing black and silver color.
These newly divulged LCD monitors are deemed to be a green conceptual start on as they are outstandingly designed to save 25% of electrical power. In these exclusively manufactured eco monitors just two lamps are employed to give out 300 nits of brightness which would otherwise require four lamps in a conventional monitors. Now moving to the technicalities of these energy saving eco monitors would really beatify a green technocrat.

Toshiba-one of the famous names in home-use lighting equipment industry has released two nouveau LED lights for commercial purposes. These are shaped like midget reflector and beam lamps. These were designed in a manner that they can be easily used with current sockets used for existing lights in your house (because these lights have the E26 base).

The land of rising sun- Japan brings a new fluorescent lamp. This one’s not the run-of-the-mill kinds for it is made in a manner where the bulb of the lamp can be separated into lighting circuit unit and an arc tube unit. This bulb-shaped lamp is an outcome of JV between Hitachi Lighting Ltd and Seiyo Company Ltd. It truly represents that joint ventures between two biggies of the industry can be so eco-friendly! The USP of the product is its power saving feature. The design being such that it requires approximately 1/5th of the amount of copper used in lighting circuit in previous bulb-shaped fluorescent lamp produced by Hitachi. Less copper and more lighting. Wow!
Other features include a shelf life of 10,000 hours. Since the arc tube unit is replaceable, the lighting circuit unit can be repeatedly used. This unit has an overall life of about 30,000 hrs. What’s more? The arc tube can be replaced three times for one lighting circuit unit.
