I’m thinking about getting some new furniture for my home. Being a nature-loving person, the concern is to bring some green furniture which truly fits the best-out-of-waste category. So, I started searching for such chairs and desks and all and came across some really cool options which I’m going to share underneath. So, that all those who are planning to renovate their homes and other green-product enthusiasts can have their wishes fulfilledJ. Here are some very interesting chairs and seating furniture which will add a lot of charm to your house!
1. Art from Trash – Scrap Chairs
These attractive-to-look at and comfortable-to-sit chairs are made out of paper, cardboard scraps and layered wood. The idea behind these chairs was to collect people’s trash and churn out some chic, daily-use products. These are crafted by Graypants Studio. In today’s time these chairs, represent one of the best possible use of paper and tree-pulp based household scraps.

2. Out Of Closet- Hanger Chairs
Now you can get a chair done from those old discarded hangers which no more fit into your closet. Ask designer Vanessa Marie Robinson and she has a lovely design one custom made for you! Her hanger chair is sleek and stylish. Made out of 47 dry-cleaning hangers, the chair is a true objet d’art for your verandah.

3. For light evenings-Whiskey Barrel Chair
This Bilge Lounge Chair by Uhuru is made from recycled whisky barrels. It sure looks delicate but is quite comfy aswell and will definitely give that ‘earthy’ feel to you!
You can enjoy your evening drink in soft light & melodious music being firmly seated on this one!
4. For paper lovers-Shredded Paper Furniture
All the monthly newspaper and magazine bundles can be used to made some modern home and office furniture. Have doubts? Then meet  Jens Praet. He recycles discarded spreadsheets, newspapers, shredded paper waste into chairs and desks and cabinets by combining paper-waste with gums and resins. Droog Design is now producing two of his pieces. Don’t throw your old books, copies, magazines now. Just give them to Jens and get yourself  a lovely, recycled and eco-friendly piece of furniture back home.
