Peugeot Loop by Abhinav Dapke Oozes Green with Solar Roof!

Peugeot Loop

Concept cars are always trying to out-do one another with fancy new concepts that seem to hover on the borderline of reality and impossibility. It is knowing which side of that line to be on, that makes them either good or forgettable. It seems that Peugeot Loop has got it right with its design and concept. Here is one car of the future with eco-friendly approach towards the future. The car is designed by Abhinav Dapke and it is filled with a perfect blend of technology and green features.

The Loop has the windshield extending as the roof and while that design is common with modern cars, it is the fact that it sports solar panels that sets it apart. The roof of the car has photovoltaic plates that harness solar power to usher the car forward. It also creates an interesting visual pattern. The primary energy source is a rechargeable lithium battery located at the rear of the vehicle. Materials proposed for the vehicle are also eco-friendly.

Semi-circular bags are located along this gangway. They come with customized options for storage, entertainment, interaction, etc, providing the user with greater flexibility and ease of use. An embedded camera also adds to the experience but all this could be too much and could distract from the actual driving. In style, design and eco-friendly features, the Loop wins you over.

Mazda Kiyora Concept: Clean Car Inspired by Nature
Posted in Automobiles, Car, concept on 11 September 2008

Mazda Kiyora Concept

Water is indeed inspirational and one trip to the beach will surely inspire you to follow the waves. While Mazda have tried to emulate the wind and sand in car designs earlier, their attempt at giving solid shape to water seems to have come off much better. The Kiyora Concept of Mazda is a futuristic car that is inspired by water and one look at the car clears any further doubts on that. The ?flowing? design of the car along with the pattern on the glass are mesmerizing, to say the least.

Kiyora?s aerodynamic Nagare design and next-generation four-cylinder direct-injection engine contribute to excellent fuel economy and low CO2 emissions. The new Mazda Kiyora concept car is based on an all-new platform designed to minimize weight and maximize safety and driving pleasure. It also features an interior design and new functions that support a youthful lifestyle. It seems that this clean car from Mazda with better efficiency and cleaner exhaust will really steal the show when the Paris Motor Show Kicks off. Let’s wait and watch!

GYM: A Concept Car that Gives you a Workout
Posted in Automobiles, Car, Technology, concept on 30 August 2008

One look at the GYM concept car and you have to fall in love with the design and the wonderful aerodynamic feel the car has. But when you examine the car and the way it functions in detail, you are sure to take a pass on it rather than actually pick it up and go for a drive. So why is it that you would not really be crazy about a car that looks as cool as the GYM? The answer is simple and it is because it makes you sweat for a decent joy ride around the block.

The GYM Concept Car is powered by your energy and it uses the energy of a work-out to power the car. Kinetic energy from your workout is stored in the car and it is later used to drive it ahead. Of course, you could just plug it in for a charge and that is pretty eco-friendly as well, but that is not in the true spirit of this vehicle!

The concept looks too fancy to be true and unless I like to spend loads of cash on a fancy exoskeleton that I need to push around all the time, I this will not interest many. But maybe we can plug the cars to those preparing for London 2012 and they could start a mass transportation system each day after the practice sessions are done!

Embryo Vehicle Concept: An Eco-Friendly Two Seater
Posted in Car, Eco-Friendly, Go green, concept on 7 August 2008

One of the best way to envision a green future is via concept vehicles that are designed keeping in mind the environmental concerns of today and tomorrow. That’s why at Ecotalks, we make it a point to keep our readers abreast with the latest in concept vehicles and hybrid cars. Who knows tomorrow one of you may design your own green vehicle and I may be happily covering it over here! :-)

Today, I would like to share with you a few things about a two-seater Embryo. The concept vehicle is a modern car which is designed keeping in mind, the parking problems that we face today (something which is bound to get worst in future).

Â

The sexy petite vehicle runs utilizing clean technology. It is powered by fuel cells thus hydrogen power ensures a zero emission state! Embryo’s eco-friendliness can be estimated by the fact that the car is made up of recyclable aluminum.

Its exteriors use a soft material which doesn’t compromise with the passengers’ safety. Its interiors are made from silicon. Small size and compact design assures a swift traveling experience for two people. To add-on to the security measures and avoid any possible accident, the smart autopilot takes care of the speeding Embryo. In other words, in this two-seater you are as safe as when you were an embryo inside your mother’s womb!

Impending BRB Car Model Ascertains Twofold Green Value
Posted in Automobiles, Designer, Green, Pollution, Products, concept on 25 July 2008

Major dilemma of being in metropolitans is enormous population and intensifying pollution level. On the road to deal with these tribulations Daniel Bailey comes out with an attention grabbing thought of BRB Cars. Surrounded by loads of concept cars one and all would apparently imagine this to be a superfluous car model but trust me this is practically exceptional object of expediency and pragmatism.
Enclosing hydrogen filled fuel chamber, this electric driven car is incorporated with outstanding green aspects. One more worth mentioning facet is that the car size is cease able up to half of its projected dimensions, implying its foldable capability.

Hence, above and beyond resolving the pollution issue, this BRB Car model unravels the scarce parking area crisis. Hopefully, this dual pro BRB Car model emerges out to be a promising non cynical green conception.
