Here’s a call for the aqua-sports lovers who don’t mind enjoying the thrill with a little bit of concern for environment as well. Have a look at the Czeers MK1 prototypesolar speedboat, and you’ll know what we are talking about. Yes, this is your answer to your call of navigating the zooming water currents in a speed boat together with taking care of environment.
This is a 10-meter long rig, which fits in 14 square meters of solar panels to act as the power source to an 80kw electric motor. The world’s first solar powered speed boat, MK1 as they call it tears the water at a breakneck 30 knots, sans any fuel in form of oil leading no a fume, no engine noise and no engine waste ride. All you have is a solar powered vrooming ride on water.
Talk about the make of MK1 boat, and you come to know that it is made out of 100 percent carbon fiber. And what to say about features, they are nothing but pure icing on the cake. It comes with an LCD touch-screen control system, leather trimmings and, most importantly, photovoltaic cells on almost all its horizontal services. In short it is it will be a pure delight for a waterbaby to ride something that will give him pure pleasure and no guilt of polluting the environment.
As far as availability is concerned, Czeers are looking forward to producing between 4 and 8 boats per year. And if you are thinking price, I would only tell you that the last version of MK1 was exhibited at the Millionaire Fair, so, I don’t think there should be any prizes for guessing that this one is also going to be equally expensive and luxe!
