Ivory, approved the sale in China

With nine votes in favour, four against and two abstained the Standing Committee of CITES has admitted China, now next to Japan, purchase of ivory after the showing by the Beijing authorities, measures which prove the traceability of material .
In practice, China can thus buy ivory from South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Botswana comes from elephants that died naturally and can not be sold retail and only in the internal market.
