A Green Vehicle for the Disabled: Colisa Electric Moped

Colisa Electric Moped

Industrial designer Nina Augustsson’s new green vehicle, an electric moped for the disabled is like a bout of fresh air among the cheaper by the dozen kind of electric mopeds flooding the market. Her moped, designed alongwith a classmate Reza Tajik is both chic and eco-friendly. It’s called Colisa Electric Moped. The vehicle is based on an existing model – Pernova’s Sportster SE. Colisa derives its name from an orange aquarium fish truly reflecting the environment-friendliness and natural spirit!

Its attributes are:
·    A light metal frame,
·    Fixed wind screen and rear view mirrors,
·    Seat that can be rotated,
·    Arm rests that can be folded-up,
·    A rain shelter which can be stored in a cylinder provided at backside, when not in use  and
·    A comfy seat that is fit for both short women & tall men.

What more can you ask from an electric-moped? Colisa is definitely style and comfort blended into one!
