Agave Surfboards: Eco-friendly water sport frm Gary Linden

eco friendly surf boardSeems water sports are getting on people’s mind these days. Earlier we told you about the Czeers Solar powered speed boat and now it’s the turn of Agave’s organic surf boats.

So if you are ready to ride the waves in style with a confidence inheart that you are not doing anything bad to the environment, check out these surf boards. Designed by Gary Linden, the Agave Surfboards are made from dead Agave plants found in her own backyard, which he mills himself.

Apart from this, another touch of eco-friendliness comes to fre in these surf boards when you see the usage of sisal cloth coming in from Agave leafs and resin extracted from Agave sap in place of usually used fibre glass and resin.

Of course, Linden’s surfboards come a little heavy on the pockets but are no doubts awesome when it comes to performance and aesthetics. And to top it all…they are giving no further torture to the environment.
