As Bodies Heat UpÂ

Body Heat If successful, it will be a breakthrough in the concept of conservation of energy. A Swedish state-owned firm has come up with a brilliant plan to utilize the body heat of a quarter million commuters bustling through the Stockholm central train station everyday.
The logic behind the idea says that body heat of train travelers keeps the station quite warm. So, why shouldn’t the surplus heat be redirected to provide as much as 15% of the heating in a planned 4,000 square meter office building near the station.
The idea does sound crazy but it is also “environment smart”, it will reduce the energy consumption of the building to almost half. The bodily warmth from the central station will be redirected to warm up water for heating. The investment will be around 200,000 Swedish crowns ($31,200).
