William McDonough’s Energy-Efficient Tower of the future

Picture this: You woke up seeing the sunshine entering your room and then your wish to spend your day in the vicinity of nature gets fulfilled as the building am taking about breeds nature. Still a concept, this soon-to-turn building would be available soon offering a healthy stay here.

With magnificent exteriors, the building helps make oxygen, purify water, generate energy, and alters with the seasons. Almost a replica of the tree, the building seems to feature biomimicry. Now what is biomimicry must be bothering you. Right? It is a science that revises nature, its forms, organism, practice and elements and then tries to emulate or take motivation from it, thereby making our planet more eco-friendly.

On the same lines, a prototype design is being made by William McDonough, founder and principal of William McDonough & Partners on a special invitation from Fortune Magazine to create such a design. Earlier William McDonough made up to headlines by building the first solar-powered house in Ireland in 1977 and bagged the title of being the “Hero of the Planet” in 1999 by the Time magazine.

If the information is sufficed to invite your curiosity then rush now to Abu Dhabi as the concept would be exhibited at the World Future Energy Summit (WFES) from 21-23 January. Â
