Green will be the color of world now!!!

Eco-friendly Wedding

With the emergent awareness amongst people concerning environment issues, various elucidation are being proposed in different ways to make our surrounding eco-friendly.
The latest among these is Green Wedding where all ingredients starting from recipe to the full-served food and the entire ceremony backed upon eco-friendly ways.

Nuptials of Julie Mayfield and Jim Grode was an eco-friendly affair where guest carpooled in electric cars and were served with biodegradable plates during all meals. In today’s age people are busy in recycling processes, consuming more organic food, swapping luminescent lights for compact fluorescent ones and sailing around in hybrid cars and honeymooning at an eco-friendly resort as the Maldives. The very mention of all thse gestures gives peace to my ear.

Not even this, going beyond many honeymoon resorts assure to make the good-natured getaway “carbon neutral” by supporting the production of clean electricity by resources such as wind farms rather than fossil fuels like coal and gas.

Catering with organic, locally produced Italians or chinese dishes and fried-spicy chicken can cost twice as much as it would otherwise, says the bridal expert. And soy-based ink for formal invites and flowers for the bridal garland can take long hours than traditional choices. Nevertheless competition and demand ultimately will make it easier to create green weddings.

At Hotel Mocking Bird Hill in Jamaica, a program called “Happy Marry Tree” expects every couple making a visit there on a honeymoon to plant atleast plants two trees compensate the carbon emissions done through their travel.

Several green registries consent with brides and grooms to register for everything from reusable bags to a compost crock and sheets made with organic cotton as well as make donations to green causes.

So, the concluding mantra is:
Modest and simple
Condense, reprocess, reuse
Use green transportation
Spread a word across about public transit and promote carpooling

Truly, such marriages are educating ceremonies and a convincing way to promote green living. The bottom line says it all….Today, if you call someone green, it’s not a diss, it’s cool.
